Contact Health ServicesInjuries and illnesses sometimes occur at school. In the event that your child is seriously injured or seriously ill, LJISD personnel will immediately notify you or your authorized emergency contacts. Have you provided the school with your updated telephone numbers?
Mission StatementThe La Joya Independent School District Health Services Department will provide a safe and healthful school environment by focusing on prevention and early intervention. Implementing an ongoing and effective health education curriculum will promote student and staff health safety. The school nurse takes the leadership role by acting as a liaison between home, school and community promoting an environment of optimal health and wellness conducive to learning:
